This project stems from the artist personal experiences and emotions, exploring the impacts of traditional Chinese exam-oriented education and familial emotional upbringing.
By manipulating old photographs and combining various materials, the project conveys the influence of such educational environments on children. In this work, artist transform the old photos his parents used to document he growth into he personal artistic expression. Through this art project, artist aim to promote happiness among children and reduce the suicide rate among teenagers.

The left picture shows he holding a school award. In traditional Chinese education, this certificate means that student has received very good grades in their studies this year, but it also means that the student must listen to their parents and teachers and put their studies first.
